Alois Kracher

Located in the Seewinkel, an area in the Burgenland region of Austra, along the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, Weinlaubenhof Alois Kracher is in possession of a microclimate uniquely suited to the production of Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese wines. There are no secrets for the production of these remarkable wines, simply attention to all the many small details in both growing grapes with great flavour, and producing wines of great purity and balance. Today, Gerhard manages the winery with the help of his life-in partner Yvonne and his mother Michaela. The range offered by what is undoubtedly the most widely known Austrian wine estate features the world-famous Trockenbeerenauslesen as well as Beerenauslesen, Auslesen, Eiswein (ice wine) and small amounts of dry white and red wines.
